I went to Coachella. I go to events like this to fuel my creative vibe directly from the people. Seeing and having experiences with other people is necessary for all developers. 

Speaking of social, the thing that was really interesting was how it was such an influencer and social media event it was. This was totally expected, but the conversation in the air wasn’t so much about seeing someone for their music or performance, but so they could come online and say things about it. The whole social media vibe was everywhere. I’m not calling it ‘bad’, but it was interesting seeing how it simply is life right now.

Run the Jewels (Killer Mike and el-P), Megan Thee Stallion, Danny Elfman, Skream, TokiMonsta, Jillesque, Dom Dolla

Some That I Missed:

Big Sean, Baby Keem, Little Baby (saw from far away), Stromae, Ari Lennox, 100 gecs, Sampa the Great, Omar Apollo

Randomly, someone told me about Tame Impala. They weren’t there, but that’s a great new band that I got put onto.

The San Diego Comic Con is still my number one for this sort of creative thing, but Coachella is pretty good.
